Wickford: Man Missing From Hospital Found

A man, who went missing from a Runwell Hospital in Wickford, has been found safe and well.

49-year-old Paul Doherty was allowed out of the hospital on day leave on Sunday but he failed to return.

A police search began and Paul was traced to a relative's house in Harringey in north London.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics to be treated for the effects of illegal drug ingestion.

He is recovering well and will be returned to the hospital in due course.
