Chiefs Aim To Secure Semi Spot

Exeter Chiefs aim to secure a play-off semi-final spot with a win over London Welsh this weekend.

Chiefs are currently top of their play-off pool with two games to play, and a win over the exiles would mean they'd at least qualify for the last four, with the chance to secure home advantage for the semi-final in their final pool game.

Chad Slade returns at flanker for the game, which is being played at Esher's ground as opposed to the Exiles' normal home.

Exeter secured a convincing win over Welsh the first time the teams met in the play-offs a few weeks ago, and will be full of confidence following last weekend's demolition of Doncaster at Sandy Park, but Rob Baxter's side lost last time they travelled to play Welsh, and the home side themselves need a win to stay in contention of progressing further in the race for promotion.
