Help Wanted Finding Convicted Burglar

The defendant Maxwell Michael Wilson, aged 24 years has been found guilty of aggravated burglary and trespassing with a firearm in his absence at Exeter Crown Court on Thursday, 26 April 2012.

He has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment

This follows an incident during the evening of Sunday the 9th January 2011 whereby two men, both of whom were wearing balaclavas, broke into a house in Rowcroft Close, Honiton in possession of masking tape and two handguns, and threatened the occupants.

Police are making a fresh appeal in the light of Wilson's conviction in the hope that the public can assist the police in locating him.

He is described as being, a white man, 5'11" in height, average build, blue eyes with dark brown short hair, clean shaven, with a soft West Country accent.

Police would like to hear from anyone who has information as to the current whereabouts of Maxwell Wilson.
