Heart's Feel Good Weekend with Dev Griffin 12pm - 4pm
There has been an increase in the number of cases of parents abusing teachers in Devon.
It is particularly a problem when their child's been in trouble at school.
Julia Neal from Devon's Association of Teachers and Lecturers claims 40% of staff have faced aggression: "I had a threat to my life from a parent because I told a child to complete their homework."
She has told Heart she is not the only one who has faced death threats: "that teacher had to be transported to and from the school and looked after and counselling had to be set up. There are many examples that come to us where parents are really intimidating, they are not supporting the teacher at all in the classroom."
