"My family's become a bit Cornwall obsessed"

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with the Prime Minister this week, we spoke to him about his love of the South West.

David Cameron is often spotted with his wife Samantha in Cornwall, as they take their annual summer break to the Duchy.

But he says Devon also has a lot to offer, and he enjoys spending time there too.

This year, he was pictured at Polzeath beach, awkwardly wriggling into a pair of trunks, whilst covered by a Mickey Mouse towel.

His daughter Florence was born at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro in 2010, during a break in August of that year.

Although the Cameron's love of Cornwall is widely known, they're not often spotted in neighbouring Devon.

So in a recent EXCLUSIVE interview with Heart, our reporter Carrian Jones asked him if he planned on spending some time in Devon any time soon.

We also spoke to the Prime Minister about Rural Funding, "Bed blocking" and the fate of three Devon people being held in Russia after a Greenpeace protest about Arctic oil drilling.
