New £54m school for Devon
Students are getting to use a new £54m school in Devon for the first time.
The new facility in Bideford's taken two years to build, and has already won national awards for it's environmental credentials.
Among the features, the new college has got a six badminton court sports hall to British badminton standards, with bleacher seating for 440, theatre/cinema with bleacher seating for 348, dance studio, drama studio and music rooms. There is also a large winter garden space for indoor circulation, additional dining, social and educational functions, three multi use game areas, plus an
artificial turf pitch.
