Police in Corby are appealing for witnesses after a shop worker was subjected to racist abuse.

The 26-year-old man was working in the Texaco Service Station in Oakley Road, Corby, when he was approached by three men who shouted abuse at him.

The men had entered the shop and picked up items. When they went to pay for them they did not have enough money and it was at that point they began shouting racist abuse at the shop worker.

They then picked up all of the items and walked out of the shop.

Members of the public were in the shop at the time and officers would like to speak to them if they have not already done so.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who may be able to identify the two men in the attached CCTV image who are wearing the baseball caps.

Witnesses, anyone who may be able to identify the offenders, or anyone else with information about this incident is asked to contact police on 03000 111 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
