Police in Cheltenham say they want to talk to a man (pictured) following reports a man had been seen carrying a knife.

It relates to an incident in May (Saturday 31st, 10.50 to 10.55pm), where a man was seen walking along the High Street and Grove Street.

It is believed he was talking on a mobile phone and then took a knife out of his trousers.

Police say it is not known where he went after he walked into Grove Street.

He is described as white, in his mid-late twenties with short, dark hair and was clean shaven.

He was wearing a dark blue zip-up hooded jacket, a green top, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Anyone who recognises the man is being asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 484 of May 31.
