British Transport Police want to speak to this man after an incident on a train travelling between Cheltenham Spa and Great Malvern railway stations.
It happened at around 6pm on Monday, 24 November.
Investigating officer, PC Ben Smith, said: “A male passenger boarded the train at Cheltenham Spa station at 5.52pm and, despite there being many free seats available, he sat next to a 20-year-old woman who had got on the train earlier at Bristol Temple Meads.
“During the course of the journey the man persistently asked the victim questions, despite her ignoring him. He then began touching her inappropriately on her leg.
“I am today in a position to release CCTV images of a man I believe will have key information which can assist the investigation. We believe he got off the train at Malvern, so he may be from that area and also have links to Cheltenham.
“If you know who he is, or his current whereabouts, please get in touch.
“I would also appeal to another passenger who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with information. This man asked the victim if she was ok when the train arrived at Worcester Foregate Street.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference GSUB/B2 of 24/12/2014. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
