Cheltenham: Woman Robbed At Knifepoint

Police are appealing for information after a woman was threatened with a knife during an attempted robbery in Cheltenham.
The incident happened at around 9am this morning (February 5) in King George Park just off Brooklyn Road in Cheltenham.
The victim was walking through the park with a child towards Coronation Square shops when a man walking from the railway station and Brooklyn Road attacked her and threatened the victim with a knife. The offender took the victim’s bag and ran off. The bag and all of its contents were then found discarded a short distance away from where the incident happened.
The offender is described as around 30-years-old with dark hair. It is thought that he may have been wearing a yellow scarf.
