Police are investigating reports a man behaved inappropriately towards a three year old girl in a park in Cheltenham.
Police say it happened in the King George V playing field on Hesters Way at about 6pm on Saturday, 12th July.
The three year old was with her three sisters, aged seven, eight and nine, and her 15-year-old cousin. Her cousin reported seeing a man pick the little girl up by her waist, place her stomach-down on a mini roundabout and lift her dress exposing her underwear. He then repositioned her legs, then pushed the roundabout around.
The teenager was concerned so quickly rounded up her cousins and went home to tell the children's mother.
Police say the man is white, in his 40s, about 5ft 8ins tall, with short, black hair and a thin trimmed beard along his jaw line. He was wearing a red T-shirt, baggy dark blue trousers and flip flops.
Just before the incident, he was sitting on a nearby bench drinking from a can. He had a young girl, aged about seven and possibly his daughter, with him on a pink and white bike. She had straight shoulder-length brown hair and wore a blue dress with white circles on it.
Police want anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident number 476 of 12/7/14
