Cirencester: Burglaries in Town Linked

7 January 2014, 16:45

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen two suspected burglars who struck in Cirencester yesterday (Monday January 6).

Officers are linking four break-ins in the town that happened between 1pm and 4pm.

The targeted houses were located within a short distance of each other in Queen Elizabeth Road, Moss Way, Pheasant Way and Partridge Way.

The victims are still checking for stolen items but it is known that a television was taken from one of the properties.

Now police want to hear from anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously in the area.

The first is described as white, in his late teens, 5ft 8ins tall, of slight build, with acne and a shaved head. He was wearing a navy blue zip up top, tracksuits bottoms and dirty white trainers. He was also carrying a rucksack.

The second man is described as white, with black collar length hair, perhaps layered, of slight build but slightly taller than the first person. He was wearing a fitted grey or dark blue jacket.

Anyone who saw these men or who has any information about the burglaries should call 101, quoting incident 264 of January 6.
