Gloucester: Delivery Driver Punched In Road Rage Incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a parcel delivery driver was attacked by another motorist at a set of traffic lights in Gloucester.
The incident happened at the junction of Churchdown Lane and Hucclecote Road between 5.30pm and 5.40pm on Thursday February 27.
The victim pulled up at a red light, when a man in a silver car behind got out and started shouting abuse at him. The man opened the van door, grabbed the driver and punched him in the side of the head.
The assailant then got back in his car, turned it around and drove back the way he had come.
The offender is described as white, 6ft tall, aged 40 to 50, of stocky build with grey, receding hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and jeans.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the incident, or either vehicle. The victim was in a white Mercedes Sprinter van. The offender's car is described as being a silver Nissan Micra-type vehicle.
