Gloucestershire faces cuts of £120 million

Gloucestershire County Council needs our help to save £120 million pounds.

The budgets at Shire Hall need to be cut by a third and we can help by telling the council what services we think are worth protecting and which ones we could do without.

The deadline for getting involved is Monday 4th October, you can find out more online at www.meetingthechallenge.org.uk

When the Coalition Government makes its announcement on October 20th the council will use this information and all the feedback to make some fundamental decisions about its future. A report will go to Cabinet in November outlining the recommendations.  The final decision on next year's budget will be taken by Full Council in February 2011.
