Health watchdog welcomes changes

Plans to stop bed closures at Gloucestershire's hospitals have been welcomed by the county's health watchdog.

Gloucestershire's hospital trust will instead put 55 beds on standby.

This means they will be used if needed, but could be axed in the future.
