Man charged with murder

Gloucestershire Police have charged a Winchcombe man with murder.

Police were called to a house in the village at 9.40pm on Sunday  following reports of a woman who had suffered stab wounds.

A 59-year-old subsequently died.

A 19-year-old man has been remanded to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday July 7.
