Man killed on Ebley bypass
One man's died and two have been injured after a car crash near Stroud.
It happened at around 5.45pm on Wednesday on the A419 Ebley Bypass.
One vehicle, a grey Peugeot 306 Cabriolet, was involved and is believed to have left the road and collided with trees on the embankment.
The driver of the car, a 32-year-old man from Minchinhampton, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.
A 23-year-old man from Dursley was taken to Frenchay Hospital where he is currently in a critical condition and is being treated for serious injuries.
A second man, also 23, from Stroud was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where he was treated for injuries.
The road was closed for approximately eight hours whilst the emergency services worked at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the grey Peugeot travelling from Stonehouse towards Stroud yesterday afternoon, to contact to them.
