The centre, in Eastgate Street, isavailable for anyone who either lives or works in Gloucester to drop in and get treatment for anything from small cuts and grazes to getting help giving up smoking. It will provide a normal GP surgery as well as a walk-in service.
The health centre, which is in Eastgate Street, will be run by The Gloucester GP Consortium, who are a group of GPs from local surgeries, who are working to provide services which meet the needs of local people. The centre will be open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
The aim of the centre is to provide health and medical advice, as well as reducing strain on Gloucester Royal Hospital.
