Police Recruiting New Constables
6 January 2014, 00:05
Gloucestershire Constabulary is starting a recruitment campaign for new police constables.
They say they 'are looking for motivated, dedicated and resourceful individuals to join the force, which is marking its 175th year in 2014.'
It's been more than three years since the Force last recruited externally.
Chief Constable Suzette Davenport says she is looking forward to welcoming the new recruits:
"We are looking for a group of dedicated individuals, committed to what can sometimes be a very difficult job. However, I believe it's a privilege to be a police officer and the right people will find it a hugely rewarding experience."
