Police have released an e-fit image of a man who approached a Longlevens Primary School pupil.

The incident happened at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, July 13, which was towards the end of last term.

The girl told police as she left the school on Church Road a man beckoned her to his car claiming her mother had asked him to collect her. The girl refused and told her parents.

Police are now appealing to the public to call them if they recognise the man in the e-fit, described as white, around 40 years old, very tall, with brown hair and big glasses.

They are also urging parents to be vigilant in the new school year and contact them if they see this man.
