Police in Stroud investigating the theft of magazines worth £600 believe the same man has been shoplifting them for three years.
Officers have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to dozens of specialist Apple Mac computer magazines being stolen from WH Smith in King Street since 2011.
They say the latest incident took place shortly after 10am on Wednesday July 9th, when a man picked up a copy of iCreate, ripped off the barcode, and then walked out without paying.
The man police want to speak to is described as white, 6ft tall, of medium/heavy build, in his 60s and with short, white hair.
In the last incident he was wearing blue jeans, navy jacket, white striped shirt and sunglasses clipped to his shirt.
Anyone who recognises him is being asked call 101, quoting incident 139 of July 9th, and to ask to speak to PC 1252 Gillan.
