Arson in Kings Langley

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following two arson attacks in Kings Langley.

In the early hours of yesterday (August 10) officers were made aware of a fire at a barn in Langley Lodge Lane. Fire service were also in attendance and remained on scene until around 1pm. Thousands of pounds worth of damage have been caused after items within a barn were set alight.

Officers are also investigating an arson attack at the same location at around midnight on August 2. Straw in a barn was set to fire to causing thousands of pounds of damage.

Detective Sergeant Gill Fawcett is investigating and said: “I would appeal to anyone who has any information about what happened to contact police. Obviously both incidents occurred in the early hours of the morning and we believe they may be linked. Thankfully no-one has been injured but a substantial amount of damage has been caused and it is important we trace those responsible quickly. I would urge anyone with any information whatsoever to contact us.”
