Hertfordshire's police have released an e-fit of a man they want to speak to about a burglary in St Albans.

It happened at around 6.45pm on 28 February 2012 at a house on Cornwall Road.

A thief managed to get into the house through a window at the back.  They were disturbed and left the scene getting into a silver vehicle, which was being driven by another man. The pair drove off towards London Road.

PC Paul Cullinan from the Local Crime Unit at St Albans police station is investigating and said: “I would like anyone who believes they recognise the person in the e-fit to contact me with information. I would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen a silver vehicle before or after the incident.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Cullinan via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number F1/12/703. Alternatively you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. You do not have to give your name and could be entitled to a cash reward.
