Charity Boxes Stolen In Tring & Berkhamsted

Police investigating two thefts and one attempted theft of charity boxes in Tring and Berkhamsted.

Hertfordshire Police hav released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

One theft occurred between 11.30am and 9.30pm on Friday, June 6 in the Robin Hood Public House in Brook Street. The offender(s) stole a Rennie Grove Hospice Care charity box from the bar area at some point.

Another theft happened at around 12.40pm the same day at The Bell Pub, in Tring’s High Street. A Lucy Air Ambulance for Children charity box was stolen from the bar area.

An attempted theft occurred on the same day at around midday in the George and Dragon Public House in Northchurch’s High Street. The offender took a Dreamflight charity box from the bar area but was seen by a member of the pub’s staff and challenged. The offender then dropped the charity box and ran away.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to assist them with the investigation.
