Cyclist dies in Watford

A man has died after falling off his bike in Watford this morning/Weds

The man, who was in his late 30s, came off his bike at the junction with Chenies Way and Tolpits, at around 11am.

He was taken to Watford General Hospital, where he died shortly after.

Investigating Officer, PC Matt Hollingsworth, said: "The man who tragically died had been riding a red mountain bike with black panniers at the side and the front of the bike. I am appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to the man or who saw him before the incident to get in contact."
