Police have released an Efit in connection with a distraction burglary in Abbots Langley.
It happened on Saturday, July 12 at 4pm in Summerhouse Way. An elderly woman, in her 90s, answered her door to two men who said they were gardeners and managed to get inside her house. Whilst inside, they removed cash from her handbag.
A neighbour reported seeing the men and described them as looking like brothers. One was described as a white man with tanned skin, aged approximately 26 years old and of medium build and height. He was said to be clean shaven with short jet black hair.
Detective Constable Jason Tinsey from the specialist unit Operation Manhunt said: “We’re looking to identify these two men to prevent further incidents from occurring. The victim has helped to create this image of the main suspect to assist the investigation.
“If you recognise this man, have information about the incident, or were also approached that same day by two men offering gardening services, please contact police immediately.”
