Fatal Lorry Accident Closes M25

A man has died after a lorry crash which has closed the M25 today.

Thames Valley Police are currently at the scene of a fatal collision on the M25, which happened at just after 1pm today (27/11).

The anticlockwise (southbound) carriageway has been closed between junctions 17 and 16 after a lorry was in collision with a parapet of an overbridge. A man has died in the collision.

The carriageway is expected to remain closed into this evening’s peak period as police investigations into the incident continue.

Traffic is being diverted via the A412 and the A40 following the ‘Hollow Square’ symbol diversion route.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact the Thames Valley Police 24-hour Enquiry Centre on 101.
