Man Arrested Following Crash in Watford

A man has been arrested in connection with a crash in Watford on Saturday afternoon (July 16th) that left one man dead and three others injured.

Police are still appealing for witnesses who saw three young men who left the scene of the crash which happened at 1.20pm on the A41 Tylers Way in Watford.

A silver Audi and a white van were in collision. It’s believed that three young men, who are believed to have been travelling in the Audi, left the scene on foot before emergency services arrived.

Police believe they made off along the A41 in the direction of the A411 Elstree Road, in the vicinity of the Fisheries Pub.

The victim, who is in his 40s, was a passenger in the white van. Two other men from the van were taken to Watford General hospital with injuries.
