Man Charged With GBH In Watford

A 22 year old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a 30 year old was taken to hospital with head injuries in Watford at the weekend.

Officers were called at 2.58am to the McDonalds on the High Street after reports of a disturbance. When they arrived they found the man unconscious. An ambulance was called and the man was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington with head injuries.

Another two men were also injured.

22 year old Alexander McCarthy from Finchley Road, Finchley has also been charged with theft, affray and an offence contrary to the ID Documents Act 2010. He's been remanded in custody to appear before St Albans Crown Court on June 7.

A 20 year old man from Ruislip and a 32 year old man from Finchley has been released on police bail.
