Police Name A41 Crash Victim

Police have named a 40 year old man killed in a road crash in Watford on July 16.

Jason Crane, 40, from Croxley Green, was killed when the white van he was travelling in was involved in a collision with a silver Audi on Tyler's Way at 1.20 pm.

He was married with a son an a daughter and worked as a plumber.

His wife Fay said: "Jason was a wonderful partner and a fantastic father to our two children. Jason was always making me laugh. We had a very happy twenty one years together.

"Jason really was a great man. Words cannot describe how much we will miss him."

His Mum Dawn said: “Jason was a wonderful son and a great person. He was a very thoughtful, kind, loving and generous son who was always there for his four brothers and two sisters - a fantastic role model. ”

“People thought so much of him, he had a great sense of humour and will be sadly missed by us all.”

Michael and Pat McDermott, Jason’s father and Mother –in-law said: “Jason was the best son – in – law you could ever wish for. He lived his life for his family – they were his life. He loved going on holidays with them and spending time with them. He will be missed by all who knew him.”

Jason’s family would like to add: “We are all absolutely devastated at losing him and it has left a huge hole in all our lives.”

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the collision.
