Serious Attack In Watford

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Watford.

At around 2.45am on Friday 23rd September the victim, a 30 year old man, was walking along the High Street towards Lower High Street. When he reached the area of the flyover he was assaulted by a man who was with a second man.

The victim suffered serious injuries to his face.

The suspect is described as a white man aged in his late teens and 5ft 4ins tall. The man with him had short dark brown hair.

PC Garry Madgwick from the Local Crime Unit in Watford is investigating and said: “I believe this was an unprovoked attack which has left the victim with serious injuries. Our investigations are ongoing at this stage, but I would like to ask for the help of anyone who was in the area at the time also. If you did see anything or have any information which would assist our inquiries please contact me.”
