Visitors to St Albans Museum have had the chance to put post-it notes on what they like and what they don't, to help bosses learn what's popular and what isn't.
An event called Occupy the Museum took place on the evening of Friday 25 January 2013.
Councillor Mike Wakely, Portfolio Holder for Sports Leisure and Heritage for St Albans City and District Council told Heart: "Occupy the Museum is a fun, free interactive event where you have the chance to have your say about the Museum of St Albans. There is no need to book and all ages are welcome.
"The information from the event will be used to help us to continue to offer programmes that are of interest to everyone. It will also help us to ensure that the museum continues to reflect the community’s view on what is special about St Albans."
Occupy the Museum brings together two of St Albans Museums projects funded by Arts Council England: Museum or What? and Stake Your Claim.
Museum or What? challenges perceptions about what a museum is and encourages people to imagine a radical vision for museums in the future.
Stake Your Claim is aimed at giving people the opportunity to share what they think is special about St Albans, particularly in relation to its heritage.
