A 45 year-old Roydon man and a 33 year-old man from Hertford have admitted killing a father, who died in the car park at the Costco store in Bushey.

Patrick O'Driscoll and James O' Driscoll were charged in March, ten months after Prasanna 'Nick' Arulchelvam, 34, was discovered in the car park of the outlet store, in Hartspring Lane, with a fractured skull and other injuries.

The father-of-one, who lived in Watford, died from his injuries weeks later at St Mary's Hospital, in London.

Patrick O'Driscoll, 33, of Purkiss Road, Hertford, and James O'Driscoll, 45, of Hamlet Hill, Roydon, both pleaded not guilty to murder at St Albans Crown Court in June.

At Southwark Crown Court the pair pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to manslaughter. They also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal on May 25 and May 26.

The O'Driscolls will be sentenced tomorrow.
