Two More Arrested Over Stabbing

Two more people have been arrested over the death of a 21 year old man stabbed in Hemel Hempstead town centre.

Billy Dove (pictured) was hurt in the town's Market Square in the early hours of Sunday 6 November 2011.

An 18 year old man from Hemel Hempstead has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.  A 47 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.

Two 17 year old boys have already been charged with murder.

Chief Inspector Mike Pryce from Hertfordshire Constabulary said "The incident on Saturday night, which resulted in the sad and tragic death of a young man, Billy Dove, has understandably had a traumatic and devastating effect on Billy’s family and the people of Hemel Hempstead and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Billy’s family at this time.

"In Dacorum we have a strong track record of working with our partner agencies, schools and youth groups, educating them about the dangers of knife crime, and we will continue to work with the relevant parties to continue to educate the people of Dacorum about the dangers of carrying offensive weapons. We are also increasing high visibility patrols in Hemel Hempstead town centre to reassure members of the public."
