Watford Post Problems: Latest

Watford's MP's called for a meeting with the Business Secretary to discuss problems that have left people in Watford without post for days.

Royal Mail insist post is now being delivered in Watford every day after initial teething problems with new ways of delivering post introduced in September 2011 that saw postmen and women sent out on longer rounds they found impossible to complete.

Royal Mail say they have now tweaked those rounds so postmen and women can finish them, but they can now deliver post in urban areas up until 3pm and in rural areas up until 4pm.

Watford MP Richard Harrington says he's unimpressed constituents are still complaining about the service they are receiving.  He's asked for a meeting with the Business Secretary Vince Cable to discuss the matter.
