Woman Attacked By Man In Berkhamsted

A 20 year old woman suffered cuts and bruising to her face after being attacked in Berkhamsted.
She was walking along Swing Gate Lane between 11pm and twenty past last Tuesday night (June 7th) when a man, who was walking with a woman, crossed the road and punched her several times to the head.
The woman who was with the man pulled him from the victim and they both made off along Swing Gate Lane.
The man is described as white, in his early 20s who was slim, between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 7ins tall with cropped hair.
The woman was described as being in her early 20s with long blonde hair and she was carrying a large handbag.
