A man from Milton Keynes, who robbed a betting shop at gun point, has been sentenced to seven years in jail.
Paul Francis Cane - who's 38 and of Godwin Close in Wavendon Gate - carried out the armed robbery at Ladbrokes in Walnut Tree in April this year. He threatened the cashier with a handgun, demanded money and then ran from the shop with a small amount of cash.
Cane was found guilty at Huntingdon Crown Court on 7th October and was today (Thursday) sentenced to five years imprisonment for robbery and two years for a firearms offence.
The sentences will be served consecutively.
