Human remains have been found on a building site in Milton Keynes where new houses are being constructed.
Police were called to Taylor Wimpey's Heathley Chase development, near New Bradwell and Stantonbury, at 11.20am on Monday 9 January 2012.
The bones had been found by contractors working on the site, where three, four, five and six bedroom homes are being built on a section of land between Newport Road and the Grand Union Canal.
Experts from Dundee University who have examined the bones now say they are more than two hundred years old, and therefore not suspicious. Because of this, Thames Valley Police's involvement in the case has ended.
