Charges made after car's stolen

Thames Valley Police has charged two men from Milton Keynes with a number of theft and vehicle offences.

Matthew Sunter, aged 26, from Ramsons Avenue, Conniburrow, and Ben Tompkins, aged 27, from Whaddon Way, Bletchley, were both charged with one count of theft from a vehicle and one count of aggravated vehicle taking.

Sunter was also charged with possession of cannabis and breach of his Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO). Tompkins was also charged with driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, driving without valid insurance and theft from a shop.

Sunter has been remanded in custody and Tompkins has been released on conditional bail. Both are due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 27 February. 

The charges are on connection with the theft of a motor vehicle from Exebridge, Furzton, on 15 January.
