A new video's been produced to raise awareness of the wide range of leisure activities you can do in Milton Keynes.

It's been produced by Destination Milton Keynes with support from Milton Keynes Council.  It shows a family visiting the city and discovering just how much there is to do.

The video begins with the father and daughter trying out wakeboarding, while the mother and son cycle some of the redways. The whole family moves on to Bletchley Park and then throughout the video they take in Milton Keynes Theatre, a game at MK Dons, they visit MK Gallery, Gulliver’s Dinosaur Park, MK Museum, thecentre:mk, take a trip on the canal and a walk through Campbell Park.

Grandma heads out on her own at one point to walk the city centre sculpture trail while the children enjoy indoor skydiving and Mum indulges in some shopping. They end by having a meal out in The Hub and looking back at everything they’ve managed to pack in during their visit.

Marketing Manager at Destination MK, Carys Underwood, said: "The video really shows off what MK has to offer the leisure market. Sometimes people forget what’s on their doorstep but also what is available within the region and MK has a huge potential market within just one hour’s drive.

"Encouraging visitors to come to Milton Keynes for a day trip or for a longer break can help strengthen the important visitor economy and shine a light on Milton Keynes both regionally and nationally.”
