It happened on Tuesday 19th November, at 5.45pm in Sutcliffe Avenue, Oldbrook, when two boys, aged around 13 to 15 robbed the 67-year-old for £10.
A couple were nearby at the time, but the victim didn't call out for their help, in case he put them in danger.
The first offender's described as white, around 5ft 4ins tall and of a slim build. He was wearing two stud earrings in his right earlobe, a dark, knitted woollen hat and a dark top.
The second offender was said to be a mixed-race boy, of a large build, around 5ft 6ins tall and had short black hair. He was wearing a dark top.
Detective Constable Samantha Reynolds from Milton Keynes police station said: "The victim saw a man and a woman walk from Shackleton Place onto The Redway whilst the robbery was occurring.
"The victim did not call out as he did not want to put the couple in danger. I am appealing for these people to come forward."
