A lorry driver's died following a collision on the southbound carriage of the M1 this morning (Wednesday).
It happened at around 4.40am near Newport Pagnell service station, when four HGVs collided. The driver of one was pronounced dead at the scene - the three others received minor injuries.
The carriageway was closed for several hours between junctions 14 and 15, Diversions were put in place and motorists faced delays of more than an hour.
Police have now re-opened the road and are asking anyone who saw the crash to contact Sgt Simon Hills on 0845 8 505 505.
