Firefighters Tackle Blaze For More Than 12 Hours

Firefighters from Buckinghamshire have been at a fire at a thatched property for more than 12 hours.

They were called to the detached house in Lower End in Thornborough near Buckingham at 7.50pm on Saturday, and are still at the scene this morning (Sunday).

Ten fire crews were initially called to the incident.

All of the roof has been destroyed and three quarters of the first first and ground floor have been damaged by fire and water.
