Police say they're no longer looking for any suspects after a man reported being sexually assaulted by a gang of men on one of Milton Keynes' Redway footpaths.
The man - in his twenties - had complained of being attacked and raped by between four and six men just after midnight on the morning of Monday 16 July 2012, near the back of Lamberts Croft, Greenleys.
Thames Valley Police say the man's complaint has now been withdrawn.
Det Insp Nick Glister, of Milton Keynes CID, said: “We treat all reports of this nature very seriously and encourage anyone who has been a victim of such an assault to report it to police immediately.
"On this occasion we can confirm that we are no longer looking for suspects and that no offences of any kind have been committed."
