Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a 23 year-old man was attacked and had his iPhone 5 stolen during a robbery in Milton Keynes on Saturday 4th May.
At 10.41pm, the victim was walking from Campbell Park into the Springfield area of the town. When he reached Kenwood Gate he was approached by a group of five or six men.
One of the men asked the victim for a cigarette, but the aggrieved told the suspect that he didn’t smoke.
The group then surrounded the victim, who was hit on the head and the side of his face with a glass bottle.
The victim fell to the floor and was threatened with the broken bottle, before his iPhone 5, driving licence, bank cards and £20 in cash were stolen.
The offenders then ran off in the direction of Fishermead.
All of the offenders were men aged between 16 and 19-years-old and were all wearing dark clothing. They were all black, apart from one white man.
The victim received cuts to his face and head, which were caused by the bottle. He received treatment at Milton Keynes General Hospital.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the offence or anyone who saw the offenders in the area at the time to contact them.
