Police believe three convenience store robberies in Great Holm, Bradville and Downsbarn were all the same offender.

They happened within 8 days of each other and all three times the offender walked around the shop before going to the counter with a knife and demanding money from the till.

The first robbery happened on Tuesday 20th May at Bradville Premier Stores, the next was at Downs Barn Londis on 24th May and the third was at the Londis store in Great Holm on May 28th.

The offender is described as mid twenties to early thirties, of slim build and between 5 ft 7 and 6ft tall.

Police want anyone with any information about the robberies to get in touch with them.

Meanwhile they're warning shopkeepers to make sure their CCTV is working and that they only have minimal cash in the shop till.

They also want them to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity outside the shop.
