School Coach Catches Fire

28 school children have been led to safety after a coach taking them to Whipsnade Zoo caught fire.
Fire-fighters were called at around 10.15 this morning to the A421 near Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, after the driver spotted smoke coming from the back of the vehicle.
The single decker, which also had four adults on board had been taking pupils on a school trip.
When fire crews arrived everyone was off the coach unhurt, but it was by then well alight.
The pupils were from Oakdale Primary School in Stanground near Peterborough.
Peterborough-based Grettons Coaches have said an investigation will take place into what caused the fire.
