Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a sexual assault in Milton Keynes.

The incident happened at around 4.20pm on Sunday.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was walking along the Redway which runs parallel to the V8 from Downs Barn to Springfield. She was walking through the underpass when she was approached from behind by a man on a cycle. He touched her inappropriately before cycling off.

The offender is white, in his mid twenties, 5ft 10ins, with a pale complexion, slim build, and mousy brown coloured curly long hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top, blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and was riding a burgundy coloured mountain bike.

PC Kay Chahal, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim has provided us with a detailed description of the offender. She believes that he was suffering from a skin condition, possibly eczema, as the lower part of his face was red and flaky. I’m keen to hear from anyone who recognises this man or anyone who was in this area yesterday and recognises the description of the offender.”
