Woman Dies In Road Crash In MK

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Milton Keynes this morning.
At around 7.55am a black Peugeot car collided with a pedestrian on the southbound carriageway of the V11 Tongwell Street.
The pedestrian, a 21-year-old woman from Milton Keynes, died at the scene. Her next of kin has been informed.
The road was closed while Roads Policing officers examined the scene and both carriageways have since reopened.
PC Daniel Smith, of Thames Valley Police Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “We are investigating the circumstances of this fatal collision and I am appealing for any witnesses to contact police.
“If you witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle travelling prior to the collision or the pedestrian before the incident, please speak to an officer.”
