Woman Killed After Being Hit By Car In MK

A woman's died after being hit by a car in Milton Keynes yesterday.

A 67-year-old woman's been killed after being hit by a car in Milton Keynes.

The woman, from Two Mile Ash in the town, was struck by a black Hyundai Getz on the V4 Watling Street at around 3:30pm yesterday afternoon.

She was airlifted to the Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry for treatment, but shortly died from her injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 74-year-old man who is also from the local area and a passenger in the vehicle, were treated by paramedics at the scene for shock.

Thames Valley Police want to hear from anyone who saw the crash.
